When the veterinarian finally arrived, he quickly sedated the giant Anaconda. It was not the first time he had performed such a procedure, but he was still very nervous. He was not within the walls of his clinic, but in the middle of the jungle. Anything can happen out here….
When the veterinarian carefully opened the snake’s huge bulge, the contents were immediately revealed and everyone’s jaws dropped to the floor. “How was it possible…?”

A new road had been under construction in the Amazon rainforest for a few months. Workers were working hard to ensure that this new road would be finished as quickly as possible, but it had not been easy…
It was a slow and difficult process. Getting the materials to the site was a huge challenge because of the lack of available trucks. The continuing dangers of the rainforest also slowed the process.
The workers were way behind schedule. They had begun to worry because their employer was threatening to take action if they did not finish the work on time. The employer had even threatened to fire them if they did not hurry up. The workers knew they had to take action.
They could no longer afford to slow down. Their boss gave them an ultimatum: they had until the end of the month or they would all be fired. The workers decided to work even harder than before. Little did they know at that time that they were about to face another “BIG” obstacle.
As the workers were clearing the path where the sidewalk would pass, one of them suddenly jumped back. He had seen something coming out of the vegetation that scared him to death.

The workers hoped it would pass quickly so they could continue their work, but it seemed the snake had decided to settle here. The workers were frightened and surprised at the same time. What were they to do?
“NO!” shouted the other workers. They warned their colleague that the snake might act aggressively under these conditions, trying to defend itself if it starts to feel threatened. The workers thought of another solution.
They decided that they should call and try to contact the nearest animal veterinarian. At the end of the phone call with the veterinarian, the employee who called him reacted shocked.
The veterinarian had said that the snake could very well be pregnant and that perhaps it was preparing to lay eggs right there in the middle of the newly constructed road. To confirm this suspicion, the veterinarian gave the workers a dangerous task….
He instructed the operators to try to find out where the bulge is on the body. To do this, the snake has to be moved a bit. Most of the workers were undecided whether to do this or not. What if the snake would attack them? Then one of them took control of the situation.
The brave worker decided that he would be the one to put himself in danger, to ensure that the others were safe. Then two other brave workers decided that they would pull the snake’s tail to try to stretch it. That way, they would be able to determine precisely where the bulge was. Luck was on their side.
The anaconda’s head was a long way from the end of its tail, so there was little chance it could bite them. Especially because of how slowly the snake moved earlier. But they still didn’t want to take any chances, so they took additional safety measures.
The two men equipped themselves with some of the strongest materials they could find, while the first brave worker joined them to distract the snake if necessary. With their hearts beating wildly, the two men grabbed the snake’s tail. All the other workers held their breath, hoping everything would go according to plan-others joined in to help.
Fortunately, there was nothing to worry about. The snake offered no resistance and allowed itself to be stretched almost completely. It was becoming more and more evident that there was something very wrong with this animal. The workers could now see exactly where the bulge was on the body. They called the veterinarian to report their findings. The workers were curious about what to do, since they had never seen a snake lay eggs. But the veterinarian’s tone changed immediately when she heard where the bulge was located…If the bulge was due to eggs, it would have been located much further back in the body.
